Aqua Squad offers pre-season pool opening services and end-of-seaon pool closing.
When we schedule your opening, we offer the oppurtunity for you to schedule the opening and a seperate cleaning service the following week.
- Removal of safety cover for your storage.
- Removal of winterizing plugs.
- Start-up and inspection of pump and filtration system.
- Installation of ladders and handrails.
- Brushing of pool surfaces.
- Addition of opening chemicals
NOTE: If your pool has algae (is green) at the opening, it will be green after the opening. It
can take up to a week or more for pools to clear up after the opening treatment. It is normal to
see algae begin to die and fall to the bottom of the pool. It is important that you participate in
the opening process by backwashing and rinsing your filter every day until the pool clears.
During this time, do not use any robot vacuums. After the algae dies off, you can line vac your
pool, or you can schedule a separate cleaning service with us where we will return to vacuum
out the dead algae and balance the water.
- Blowing out equipment and lines.
- Plugging plubming lines.
- Removing handrails and ladders.

- Dropping water to below the skimmer level.
- Adding winterizing chemicals.
